The Alpine Buzz

Amazing opportunities in 2020 and beyond...

2020 – and the future – is upon us! The testing field has an amazing opportunity to exceed stakeholder needs and implement programs that result in genuine enthusiasm for measurement as an ally. Success hinges on our collective ability to implement models and solutions that support traditional to cutting-edge programs, and in general:

  • better fit the ever-accelerating pace of change, the engagement expectations of Millennials and Gen-Z, and the value propositions desired by employers, sponsors, delegates, and candidates/students;
  • position and apply assessment as a valuable ally in one’s journey as a life-long learner;
  • better mitigate security risks; and,
  • continue to provide validity evidence to support our assertions (although type of evidence, collection, and measurement models will likely differ from today’s norms).

Thank you for joining us this year in "The Buzz". And, thank you for trusting Alpine to be a part of your testing and/or candidate management solutions.

All of us at Alpine wish you happy holidays and a wonderful New Year!

Best regards,

Brian Adams

(President & CEO of Alpine Testing Solutions, Inc.)

October 2019 Webinar: Test Maintenance and Security: When, Not If.

The reality is that all exam programs - regardless of program size, exam purpose, or use - are susceptible to potential security issues. All exam programs should therefore plan for the prevention, detection, and enforcement of such issues. During this webinar, we will discuss how information used for routine exam maintenance can also be used to identify security concerns and, once detected, what you can do about it. This will include suggestions for possible follow-up analyses to investigate further.
