Optimism for the Future

In the past few months, we have seen testing programs respond to difficult circumstances and continue to meet stakeholder needs. Programs have adopted or expanded their use of remote delivery to reach candidates who were no longer able to go to testing centers, made good use of unexpected bandwidth during lockdowns to focus on “back-burner” projects and priority initiatives to move their programs forward, and find creative and appropriate means to continue providing value. This has, in turn, challenged service providers to respond in order to meet the evolving needs of their customers.

In other words, as an industry, we have demonstrated we can adapt and drive positive change. Which further builds my optimism that we can deliver on the opportunities in front of us to continue to provide good validity evidence to support our assertions and:

  • better position and apply assessment as a valuable ally in one’s journey as a life-long learner;
  • better fit the ever-accelerating pace of change and value propositions desired by stakeholder groups, including the engagement expectations of Millennials and Gen-Z; and,
  • better mitigate security risks and other threats to validity.

For a few moments, though, please join us in “The Buzz”; where you can take a breath and step away from the day-to-day in order to share in a few stories and updates which just might help us on our journey.

Please send your suggestions and other feedback to kim.sadowski@alpinetesting.com. We look forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

- Brian Adams (President & CEO of Alpine Testing Solutions, Inc.)
